This program brings together leaders from diverse, bipartisan counties from across the country to explore how counties can positively influence economic mobility. Participants in the running competition will enjoy a variety of fun and free activities for all ages and abilities. These include information booths and exhibitions, soft drinks, games, gifts, musical and fitness activities, Kaiser Permanente health screenings, free products from the Fulton Fresh mobile market, and training and employment services with the Workforce Fulton mobile unit. The Garner Library has been renamed in memory of Joan P., a late Fulton County Commissioner who was an activist for social justice and human rights. The mayor of Atlanta appointed Natalie Hall as an ex officio member of the Atlanta Detention Center Task Force (ACDC) Committee.
